And we're back to the basics with more simplified amigurumi designs. I've seen people making dolls and animals with cute curly hair and I love the effect. Saw that the jellyfish's tentacles also use the same technique and I just have to try it for myself. It's surprisingly easy and fun to make!

All the other designs in the book are relatively straightforward, and from the reviews of the jellyfish it seems like it's a good project for people who have never crocheted before so I will agree it's ideal for beginners. Will consider coming back to make some more of the plushies from the book when I need a break from bigger projects, or just want to make something that doesn't require too much concentration. I think a lot of these designs will make cute little gifts for people.
